Science Superstar Required!

Part time (9.30-15.00), Term Time only
£14-17 per hour (£26,900-£32,700 pro rota)
We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic Science Superstar to deliver our exciting Scientots sessions to 2 to 5 year olds in nurseries and pre-schools around the York area, from September 2024!
The successful candidate will have a love of all things science and be an exceptionally fun, bubbly person. Experience working with children is essential and a good knowledge of science, experience of following lesson plans and a knowledge of the EYFS would also be an advantage.
You would initially be expected to work 3 days per week (total 13.5 hours a week), but this may be increased if mutually agreed in the future. You will visit 2 nurseries per day, teaching the children about science using our exciting experiments and demonstrations.
A car is essential to travel between the nurseries you will visit.
